In association with Public Media Institute, HCL presents an evening of interdisciplinary performances featuring cutting-edge work by HCL Artists in Residence. Light appetizers will be provided by Kimski and beer courtesy Marz Brewing. Doors at 7pm, perfromances begin at 7:30.

The featured HCL Artists represent a range of creative practices across music, installation, and performance:

Karen Christopher and Etheridge & Persighetti perform as THICK TIME RADIO STATION. For <span class="intexthighlight" id="TQAUF" phasehl="metakeyword:" style="color:rgb(26, 117, 255); line-height:24px">Art</span> Jam they will perform "Lighthouses," an action designed for the Co-Prosperity Sphere space. http://highconceptlaboratories.org/karen-christopher/

Maggie Kubley performs excerpts from “Safety Coffin,” which invites audiences to explore feelings regarding death through original music, installation pieces, video, and various performance mediums. http://highconceptlaboratories.org/maggie-kubley/

Jennifer Ligaya presents an installation as part of the “Ligaya Project(s),” which uses visual/graphic, sound, and text research and exploration as tools archiving individuals’ ancestral knowledge systems in order to access languages at their root. http://highconceptlaboratories.org/jennifer-ligaya/
