Performer Standing with Curtain is the latest collaborative project by musician and sound engineer (and HCL Spring Sponsored Artist) Stephan Moore. On Wednesday, April 27, explore the current state of this interactive installation by the group a canary torsi and participate in its growth by sharing your feedback with the creators. Get an exclusive in-process look at this important new work and have a hand in its continued development.
In the durational experience of Performer Standing with Curtain, an audience member engages in a duet with a projected image of a performer in a unique iteration of the recorded performance. Together, they create a mirrored connection that is intimate, transformative, and meaningful. No experience of the piece is the same. 'Performer Standing with Curtain' is the latest project by choreographer Yanira Castro, installation artist Kathy Couch, interaction designer Stephan Moore, and filmmaker Julie Wyman.
